To celebrate the return of the Annual Father's Day Show & Shine, we presented an Outdoor showing of GREASE - and what a summer night it was! With music, food, and drinks, it was a great evening and kicked off a fun weekend in the community.
It started with a conversation with a local neighbour, who mentioned that he had outdoor movie equipment. Like many of our ideas, this one started with "wouldn't it be fun if..." - and we rolled from there. So many thanks have to go out to Shawn Lebreque for offering his equipment and time to make this such a huge success. Several of our members also volunteered to help that night - we could not have done it without you!
We had wonderful support from our business neighbours and friends at The Chamber of Commerce, Fern+Cedar Brewing, True North Distillery, Qualicum Beach Cinema Society, Ice Cream Dreams, and A la Cart Hotdogs.
